In the face of constantly improving energy-saving standards for doors and windows, what should enterprises do?
Font size:SMB

I don't know when, low carbon, environmental protection, energy saving has become the key words of the new era. Energy saving is a virtue, environmental protection is a new fashion! Many little things around us can reflect these three key words. But for the construction / home doors and windows industry, how to do it?

According to relevant statistical data, China's existing buildings have exceeded 50 billion square meters, of which more than 90% are high energy consumption buildings, and the energy consumption of doors and windows is two to three times that of developed countries. If the existing doors and windows and new doors and windows are replaced with energy-saving doors and windows, about 430 million tons of standard coal can be saved every year, equivalent to about 20% of China's annual coal production. Visible, building energy consumption has become the "soft rib" of the national economy, building energy conservation is imperative!

1、 Let's understand the building energy efficiency standard first

The so-called standardization is actually evolving. Many people think that in today's digital era, the market is more diversified and personalized, but in fact, standardization can be fully reflected in the actual application scenarios. In other words, standardization is the decisive condition to realize everything on the premise of economy.

Since 2007, China promulgated the first national law of energy conservation, energy conservation law, and then promulgated a number of design standards and technical specifications for building energy conservation. All these standards and specifications indicate that environmental protection and energy-saving products will become the direction of future development.

Shanghai: on January 1, 2011, Shanghai formulated the regulations of Shanghai Municipality on building energy efficiency, and its comprehensive energy saving level was raised to 65%.

● Xinjiang: on May 1, 2014, Xinjiang (xjj t063-2014) "energy saving design standard for residential buildings in severe cold zone c" means that 75% energy saving design standard for residential buildings is implemented in some areas of Xinjiang.

● Shandong: on May 22, 2015, Shandong Province issued DB37 / 5026-2014 "design standard for energy efficiency of residential buildings", marking that Shandong has officially entered the era of 75% energy saving.

● Hebei: on July 1, 2015, Hebei Province issued DB13 (J) 185-2015 "design standard for energy efficiency of residential buildings (75% energy saving)", marking that Hebei Province has become a province implementing 75% energy saving.

Zhejiang: on November 1, 2015, Zhejiang province implemented db33 / 1015-2015 "design standard for energy efficiency of residential buildings". With the promulgation of this standard, the energy efficiency level of residential buildings in Zhejiang Province officially entered the 65% era.

Chongqing: on November 1, 2016, Chongqing implemented dbj50-071-2016 "design standard for residential building energy saving 65% (green building)", so far, Chongqing has entered 65% energy saving.

● Sichuan: on May 8, 2017, Sichuan Province issued the design guidelines for energy saving design of residential buildings in Sichuan Province, which means the implementation of 65% energy saving.

● Henan: on November 15, 2017, Henan Province issued the "design standard for energy efficiency of residential buildings in Henan Province dbj41 / t184-2017 (75% in cold areas)", which means that Henan Province began to implement 75% energy saving.

● Jiangsu Province: on June 19, 2020, Jiangsu Province issued the "design standard for thermal environment and energy saving of residential buildings in Jiangsu Province" (Draft for comments), raising the energy saving requirement to 75% energy saving.

Anhui: on June 25, 2020, Anhui Province will implement the design standard for energy efficiency of residential buildings. It indicates that 65% energy saving of residential buildings will be fully implemented in Anhui Province.

Beijing: the local version of design standard for energy efficiency of residential buildings has been published, which will be implemented from January 1, 2021. The standard aims at the advanced level of energy-saving design of residential buildings in similar climate regions in the world, and takes the lead in raising the energy-saving rate of residential buildings from 75% to more than 80% nationwide.

Conclusion: building energy efficiency standards are constantly upgrading! In particular, the newly issued 80% energy-saving design standard for residential buildings in Beijing is of epoch-making significance, marking that China's new residential buildings will enter the 80% energy-saving level. What's more, Beijing's 80% design standard is compulsory and must be implemented. All new residential buildings must be strictly followed.

By reading the relevant provisions of Beijing residential building energy saving design standard upgraded to 80%, we can also find several points: with the emergence of new standards, a large number of existing doors and windows will be eliminated; plastic steel profile doors and windows below 70 series will be eliminated, 80 series will become the starting product; aluminum alloy doors and windows units wandering on 65 series will not be used in this area, more and more will be used Doors and windows are facing upgrading; aluminum clad wooden doors and windows will occupy more and more market share.

Some people may wonder why the energy consumption is so high due to the small area of doors and windows? The reason is very simple. Doors and windows are not as thick as walls. Therefore, doors and windows are the main channels of heat transfer, whether it is summer heat transfer from outside to inside or winter heat transfer from inside to outside. Secondly, the three factors that affect the energy saving of doors and windows are: door and window material, glass, door and window technology!

2、 The key of building energy saving is the energy saving of doors and windows

As a "big energy consumer", doors and windows contribute nearly 50% to building energy consumption. After a series of conversion, it can be found that solving the energy consumption problem of doors and windows can solve 15% of the total energy consumption of the society. At present, the application of green environmental protection and energy saving technology in doors and windows is not only to achieve the standard of energy saving, but also to meet the needs of human settlements.

So, what are the main aspects of energy saving of doors and windows? Generally speaking, it is reflected in the improvement of thermal insulation performance of doors and windows. After all, building doors and windows is the weakest position of building thermal insulation performance, so improving the thermal insulation performance of doors and windows is the main way to ensure building energy consumption. In addition, according to different regions, the focus and effect of energy saving will be different. The energy conservation of doors and windows in the northern cold areas focuses on heat preservation, while the southern hot summer and warm winter areas focus on heat insulation, while the hot summer and cold winter areas should give consideration to heat preservation and heat insulation. Here, let's not talk about the design standard of energy-saving doors and windows.

First of all, what are the advantages of using energy-saving doors and windows? In terms of temperature alone, if ordinary doors and windows want to keep the indoor temperature of a 100 square meter house at about 26 ℃ in summer, a two horse air conditioner needs to consume 10 to 12 degrees of electricity every day. If the energy-saving glass doors and windows with heat insulation performance are used, at least 40% of the electric energy can be saved. In winter, the emphasis is on indoor heat preservation and heating, and the principle is the same. If the small area can still achieve good energy-saving effect, then the energy consumption of public buildings and villas is high, and the energy-saving effect will be more obvious.

In architecture, the commonly used aluminum alloy windows are sliding windows, casement windows and fixed windows. It is reported that since 2000, the state has attached great importance to and encouraged the high-level thermal insulation treatment of the exterior envelope of doors, windows and curtain walls. Especially after the promulgation and implementation of the energy-saving design standard of public buildings (GB 50189), the energy-saving of doors and windows has been raised to the height of mandatory standard. At present, the structure of aluminum alloy doors and windows plays a vital role in its energy-saving effect. The structural design of windows, energy-saving glass (large area of window heat dissipation) and energy-saving window frame materials are three important aspects. In terms of structure, the casement window can be called the real energy-saving window, and the fixed window is the window type with the best energy-saving effect.

Conclusion: the use of energy-saving doors and windows and new glass can greatly reduce the fuel consumption for heating and cooling, thus reducing carbon emissions.

3、 Fresh air system

When it comes to energy-saving doors and windows, we have to mention the fresh air system - the so-called "windows" without windows, which is also used for ventilation. The difference is that the principle of the fresh air system is to filter the air entering the room, and then transport it through the air outlet pipe to exhaust the dirty air in the room. In this way, the indoor and outdoor air of the house can be continuously circulated for 24 hours to ensure the safety Air exchange to prove indoor air quality. Its special features are: it can control the air volume, no matter what the outdoor temperature is, it will continue to blow according to the set air volume; secondly, it can purify the air; in addition, there is a heat exchange function in the fresh air system, which can make the temperature of the air blowing into the room almost the same as the temperature of the original indoor air. In terms of energy saving and consumption reduction, the effect is also obvious.

4、 What should enterprises do?

Energy saving doors and windows from the initial niche products, and gradually developed into popular, standardized products, it can be seen that its applicability in the industry and society is more and more wide, is the trend of the times, popular new products, in the future, enterprises should seize this energy saving development opportunity, do a good job in related system construction, strategic layout, and constantly increase efforts to develop high standard, real energy saving and consumption reducing products Door and window products, promote the progress and development of building energy saving and green building technology.

China's building energy efficiency has gone through nearly 40 years of struggle, and now it still has a long way to go, full of challenges. We should believe that although building doors and windows are the major energy consumers in China, they will become the major energy-saving enterprises in the future!
